Filing a Takedown Notice

To be valid, your notice must be in writing and include all of the following:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  2. A clear identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed (title, author, original publication URL or registration number).
  3. The full URL(s) on sunostory.com where the allegedly infringing material is located, so we can find and review it.
  4. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Where to Send

Email your complete DMCA notice to: dmca@sunostory.com

We aim to acknowledge valid notices within 5 business days and remove or disable access to clearly infringing material promptly.

Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including the same identifying information, the URL that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed in error, and your consent to jurisdiction in the appropriate court.

Repeat Infringers

SunoStory will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.

False Claims

Submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice may subject you to liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees, under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Please confirm you actually own the rights you are asserting before sending a notice.
